today has got to be one of the greatest days in my entire life.
it's funny, but i remember that i had a conversation with a close friend, and we were talking about marriage. she knew i wanted to get married, but i also told her that we didn't have the money yet. she told me then that there will not come a time when you can actually say you have enough money, and that when we decide to get married, the money will come one way or another. this conversation happened about two years ago, and since then, i never gave it another thought.
but today, that was the first thing that came to my mind when i got another wonderful surprise. this time, it was coming from the company i work for. suffice it to say that i can now breathe a little more easily.
i am so fucking happy today.
i'm up for another busy saturday.
9am - san ago for my confirmation certificate
10am - trial makeup with julian of fringe & co
1pm - the write impression to check out invites
2pm - QP greenbelt to check out invites
3pm - bridal fair at nbc tent
7pm - visit tito jessie, one of our principal sponsors
i'm quite excited about my trial session with julian since this is going to be my first. i hope it goes well. which reminds me, i have to charge the battery of the digital cam. hee!
sunday is pretty quiet since i think i still need to rest. oh, but we are having lunch at tita chiqui's (the anti color motif woman!) so that should be fun.
the past few days, i have been in constant communication with noky dungo of printsonalities, and she's such a doll. she's so professional and she's prompt in her replies, whether it be through text or email.
i got her quotation already and although it's a teeny bit over our budget, it looked promising. i made some adjustments though since i'm not keen on using parchment for the entourage inserts. i changed it to just ecru paper. that, and some other changes, brought the price down a bit. niiiice! if i'm not able to find anything else tomorrow, it looks like i'm going to be booking printsonalities already by next week. weeeeeee!!!
last wednesday, i posted a question at w@w on whether a coord is worth the expense. with 3 months left in my wedding preps, i was still undecided as of then. as usual, i got quite a number of replies from the ever reliable w@wies. some got coords, some didn't. they both gave their pros and cons. i even printed out their emails so that schmuck and i could deliberate this weekend.
but after my happy day today, you can bet your ass i'm getting one. hahaha! i have a meeting with impromptu actually on wednesday evening. i pretty much have all my suppliers booked so all i need is a girl friday to make sure that everything flows smoothly on my wedding day. the only thing i have to think about is being pretty. if all goes well on wednesday, then coordinator --- check! weeeeeee!!!
yep, looks like things are starting to fall into place.
it's going to be a wonderful year!!! oh yeeeaaaaahhhh!
